When will information about my debt be reported to Suomen Asiakastieto?
Please note: Debt collection practices vary by country. If necessary, please change the article language to match the country where your loan was granted.
A creditor may report a payment default related to a consumer loan to a credit information register when the payment has been overdue for at least 60 days and the debtor has been notified of the delay at least 21 days before the information is reported. In addition, reporting the information requires that the possibility of such reporting was mentioned in the original credit agreement, and no new payment plan has been agreed upon for the debt.
Before making a payment, we always ask you to check the total overdue debt amount in your self-service account to ensure that your payment is sufficient to cover: all unpaid monthly installments, any accrued late-payment interest, and any service fees related to additional services.
